Her horses being failrly young had a great curiosity of what I was doing and it was very exciting and challenging at the same time to get a picture. first of all because they would stand so close to you and there is only some many nose pictures you can get before they fog the camera with there breath. It very quickly gives you an opportunity to take a picture of their eyes and I think I succeeded in getting her curious glossy eyes. also you will notice the last picture you can see the horses breath. I like the Idea of that picture more than anything. although I deerly wish I could improve it. If I could I would walk towards the right creating a more full body horse because I think from the angle I took it she looks more tubby than what I would like. and get my self lower to the ground to get better framing with less snow, and maybe try and place the sun behind the horses back to create for a more shiny glow. but if you are to know one thing about horses you have to be patient because they always will continue to move.

Big Kittys
The Tiger
Tiger! Tiger! burning bright In the forest of the night
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
-William Blake
I got the chance to go to the zoo, I haven't been there in a long while. it was quite exciting, and I have to say even though our zoo got a cool new polar bear my favorite animal there still is the Tiger! the kitty's just have this amazing majestic powerful strength too them.
One question you might ask is how did you get a picture without the bars being in the way, the answer to that is, with the zoom lens that I am using the bars are actually still there they are just blurred out, I have not quite perfected this yet because you can see some blurry spots. That's something I would like to practice, if I could spend my entire day at the zoo.
This Tiger is perfect for having in black and white because her stripes show the contrast between black and white so well.
Hope you all enjoy these photos! Please feel free to leave a comment!

Luke and Alison
In this picture is my Brother Luke and his girlfriend Alison.
It was so fun taking fun pictures like this in the woodzy area, It was so beautiful especially with the sun shining down on the trees ad there faces, it might not of been so planed out as I would of liked if you look closely you can see that my brother is wearing bright Slurpee shirt.
I chose to have this picture more of a fuz on the face to create a more of a daze feel. I think it makes them look more cute, and like in a daydream with each other.
The next picture I was sitting in a little hole to get the height ratio I wanted. I think It draws more effect to how the sun hits onto them and the trees.

I love taking pictures in nature, its beautiful to see the way the sun glistens off the trees. and seeing a Momma deer and a baby deer crawl thought your photo shoot!
Photography Tip: If you always plan out where the sun hits your subject you will get closer to the picture you want.

The Vanessa and Carmela
![]() |
| Carmela |
I went on a photo shoot a while back with this kid Carmela to take pictures of our friend Vanessa. Carmela and I are both interested in photography and love to take pictures. With similar cameras we can help each other figure out settings and give tips to each other.
Its helpful for me to have a friend that shares the same interest in photography that I do, and its more fun to have a friend to enjoy it with you.

This struggle I would say is the biggest for the city photographer unless you prefer the city style, but me I would prefer country, but we make due with what we have.
Photography Tip: When trying to doge houses in the background, try and use different angles to get them out of the way and don't forget about checking the background when focusing on your subject.
This Kid Vanessa she is amazingly beautiful, any picture of her would turn out amazing she is so photogenic. I think she will defiantly go far in her career of modeling.
I love having these to as my friends and its such a blessing to have them in my life.
Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Sarah's Sweet Sixteen
We had some time to take some pictures outside which is what I always prefer, and it was a perfect day because it was warm but not too hot, and there was light cloud cover giving me the perfect amount of light to work with. It also helps that her smile is so perfect!
I still am loving black and white, I had to have one out of the 4 I posted today to be in black and white. I think that this picture in the black and white makes her eyes pop out more, that would also have to do with her make up, which she did a good job on.
I am still using my friends lens, that I am going to have to do some research in seeing how much they cost because it works rather nicely, for the type of photography I like.
This picture was taken inside while getting ready. let me just say I love her heels! I would love to wear heels but I cant for I am a tall girl.
In the house the lighting wasn't the best to I had to use some "fake light" as my friend would call it, meaning I boosted up the ISO a little higher so that the camera can account for the lack of lighting in the room. Just be careful when you do this not to forget your settings are on that because when you go outside and forget about it your pictures are white, (and yes that was a mistake I did make ha ha, luckily I caught early on)
In this photo I hyped up the shutter speed to capture the movement of her dress frozen in the picture. Moving the ISO up a touch to balance the quick shutter speed. I did that because if you were to just put the shutter speed up the picture would be dark because the faster the shutter speed the less light comes into the camera, meaning you should put some camera "fake light" in to balance everything.
photography Tip: Play around with your ISO and Shutter speed. Find different setting that you would normally use, maybe you will find something you like better, and don't settle for an okay picture keep trying for something you can be proud of.
